In Memory of Ardeisha Crenshaw

The worst fear of any parent this past weekend was realized
when Ardeisha Crenshaw, an incoming 7th grader on
Coach Dean's Texas D-1 Ambassadors 2014 team died of
lung failure, a complication from an asthma attack. Our hearts
go out to her family.

She will be laid to rest this coming weekend, Saturday July 19th
at Mount Zion Church, located at 2938 East 13th Street in
Austin, TX @ 11AM.

The game of basketball and love of her team mates meant so
much to Ardeisha that her family will have her laid to rest
wearing her Ambassador uniform. Her 2014 team mates will
also be in attendance, wearing their Ambassadors silver
uniforms, with a black t-shirt underneath.

I would encourage any and all teams regardless of the club
affiliation, of any age, boys and girls to attend the services and
to also wear their dark jersey please as a sign of respect and
love for this child.

Nothing we can do or say will relieve the emotional stress
but on a financial note, the family like many of us did not have
insurance or death benefits of any kind on their youngster. I ask
all of you to reach out and make a contribution to this family
to ease the financial burden that they are feeling in Ardeisha's
name.
