Ramadan Aid: Contribute and Introduce a Vulnerable Family

As you all know, the Holy month of Ramadan is here again, a month we will all count our blessings when we fast and hope for God's kind blessings to shower upon us and our loved ones. While we wait in hope of this month and prepare a plan of having what kind of food or fruit at breakfast or Sahari, there are families who have no idea what they will have to eat, even once. They have no choices nor do they have any option but hope. Their dignity and self-respect does not allow them to turn into asking for alms.
We are better placed and privileged than many of the poor and vulnerable people around us, and thus as humanitarian duty it is onto us to help as many as we can. We, by grace of God, have been able to help out some of the families in this holy month in past 5 years, and I would like to request all of us as we all are guided to help those who are in need, and we can help as many as we can by putting our hands together, to our pockets and share any amount as we can to be able to purchase some basic food items sufficient for a month for a family (A bag of flour, a bag of rice, some sugar, cooking oil, some potatoes and onions, dry milk, tea, beans, and any other commodity our budget allowed).
We already have US$10,500.00 and we hope we are able to collect enough money to help as many families as possible, and the budget we have considered for each family is 5000 Afs (around $90). Any amount of help and contribution from 1$ to as much as you can is appreciated as no amount is little. The distribution of the aid packages will be carried out this coming Friday, 19th of July.
