I am less technical and more interested in the live aspect of video glitch art. Would love to see some resources on people running through their set ups for live visuals and what they use to achieve certain effects.

Have an additional detail, I have been sending logs today. If I leave the tv on for a couple hours, with the stutter, then try to change channels I get the warning that it looks like your behind the guide. So it's like its not losing connection to the source when the stutter happens, more like a 1-3 second pause.

Great question, sorry that was not a troubleshooting tool I tried. I do see similar behavior with that app as well. So the issue seems to be specific to this device and only when pulling live tv, no issues are seen using streaming apps.

Further troubleshooting, I have a HDHR connect tuner as well on a different switch with a different antenna. Same issue exists when the ATVs use that tuner as well. Now, I run my channels DVR on my QNAP NAS, its connected to my home's core switch, and connects to the quattro to record shows. The recordings don't have any issues. So the QNAP isn't seeing the issue, nor are my ipads. This issue looks to be limited to tvOS devices. I sent more logs this morning from my ATV connected to the connect tuner with the issue.

FYI, I believe the issue is something slowing down the channels app ability to write to the storage on the ATV. I can make the issue go away by closing other streaming apps that are in the background on the ATV. So maybe a memory leak?? Any chance all the logs I have sent would have that info??

Thus far, what seems to have mitigated the issue to a tolerable level... upgrade to Beta TVOS 16.5; use Hardware Deinterlacing Mode; Audio Driver set to experimental. This reduces the issues to a brief video pause when first tuning a channel, but otherwise things appear to work well.

Not for me either I don't believe, I don't have the newer homerun tuners to pull in ATSC3 stations. I have swapped back to my older ATV 4k, deinterlacing was already set to hardware and the experimental audio driver messed up sound to my Sonos beam so I am on default. Will continue to monitor and update.

Apple tv 4K newest model, I play the audio through my tv speakers only. I've also tried turning the experimental audio on in advanced settings. It may have helped a smidge but it's still pretty bad/annoying.

+1 happening today on Australian free to air channels. Using latest firmware on HDHR. Micro pauses on playback in channels on wired network. Glitches only happen in the channels app (playback via HDHR app is fine).

I've never had that problem but I have had it glitch so that one of my pieces is placed somewhere randomly on the board and I can't move it at all...even if I try to move it from it's starting position. This is particularly annoying because I can't move any pieces through where that piece should be so this means I normally can't castle that game.

Ok, so I started the game as a property owner in Whiterun. Went to Helgen (like the quest said) and Hadvar and Ralof are in the cave, injured. If I initiate conversation with either of them, there's no voice coming from them. I go to select a potion to give them and it shows my inventory as empty. If I cancel convo and check, still got all my stuff.

Anyone know of a fix? A way to just bypass the quest and move forward?

If you read the Journal that you get from the burnt corpse you should get two quest markers. One goes to the cave the other I believe at Dragonsreach. Go straight to Dragonsreach and initiate conversation with the Jarl. This should update your quest progress to begin the wizard task.

Thanks guys. I went back and forth a few times between the cave and Dragonsreach, finally the Jarl acknowledged me. I still don't know why their voices glitched out, I've had it happen before with Esbern as well.

It marked the two quests complete still, even though I didn't do anything to help Hadvar and Ralof.

Below, I took some screen grabs from Ableton Live of recording, one with the previous bar at the same point (while the loop is still in recording buffer), and another right at the point when I committed the loop. They are lined up exactly, and the image shows the gap and delay of the following downbeat.

I ask because it sounds like there might be some sort of CPU processing delay occurring at the moment of committing and so if there is no other load on the CPU what happens then? is the issue resolved or improved?

I wish the octratrack had more character and an easier / better workflow, but otherwise it really is the most flexible sampler ever built imo. There are myriad ways of using it, or not, and it even doubles as a mixer of sorts. If one insisted on a live set up without a computer I would imagine this would be a no brainer. Working in a studio with a DAW gives me no incentive for one however.

LinkedIn Live appears to be having a moment, and not in a good way. There are reports of major glitches in the last day or so. I am struggling to find any official acknowledgement of this, but you don't need to go too far to find examples in posts.

  • Town Hall style meetings: Make announcements and get direct feedback from your audience.
  • Product demonstrations: Telling is one thing, but showing how your product actually works can be extremely powerful.
  • Software demonstrations: Walk your audience through the steps. Let them know what they need to know. Save the demonstration as a video anyone can watch on demand when they need to revisit the steps.
  • Case studies: This can be powerful for business and charities alike. My co-host Sam Proof uses the power of livestreaming and video to champion the work CuteAvalanche does to help support foster kittens. Not only can supporters hear how their donations help, they can often see them in action via the kitten cam.
  • Behind The Scenes: The things you do can seem like magic to those not in the know. You can give your customers a look behind the curtains, and show people how you do what you do. Sometimes people worry that they're giving away their "secret sauce" by doing this. But truthfully once your customers know how much work is involved, they'll likely want you to do it for them.

If you've specified multiple destinations you will have an option to custom those for each destination. Different destinations will have different character limits for title and/or description. It's often a good idea to tag some Twitter users if you're streaming to Twitter for example.

  • On LinkedIn, you can add an Event description and specify speakers for the event. (If your speaker accepts the invite, both your connections/followers and their connections/followers will be notified when you go live.)
  • On YouTube, there are options for chat replay and tags and other things that are worth adjusting.

But now, if I move the node in the Luminosity Map into the lower right corner, as soon as the white curve is starting to be cropped by the lower boundary, a rectangular glitch appears, that jumps around when the zoom level changes.

Hi @alexanderneuschl Thank you for the report and sorry for the delay, we're very busy at the moment. Can you open the apps Preferences > Performance and turn OFF Hardware Acceleration and then restart the app and try the same process again.
