Dear Parents representative,
Thank you for your mail. For your information it is the Polish authorities who second teacher for the Polish section. The school is responsible to recruit locally if there is a class split.
The Polish authorities have not yet informed the school about a new seconded teacher for the second grade Polish section.
You will be informed about the locally recruited teachers for nursery and primary first grade as soon as the procedure is finalized.

Dear Ms Nordstroem,
I am attaching the information table disseminated by the school at and after Educational Council. Kindly note that there are 3 teachers’ position missing in the Polish section. As you are responsible for Berkendael you are probably not aware that there is also missing class teacher in the 2PL in Uccle.
Also note that the school website http://www.eeb1.com/index.php?id=147 provides no relevant information.
On behalf of the parents, I would like to ask when we will be informed about the nominations of teachers for 3 unoccupied positions.
May I also observe that the attached communication policy you have kindly sent, is irrelevant and not applicable to the case in hand (persons concerned are the missing teachers and the parents of the 2PL, 1PL). I would be grateful if in the future school administration takes more effort to avoid such confusing diversions.

I am somewhat surprise to read your email of the 26th of June 2013, to the General secretary and to the Director of Bxl 1,
At the Educational Council of the 11th of June we informed that the recruitment for locally recruited staff was ongoing. For your information the school is in the process of finalizing the recruitment procedure. May I reassure we have interviewed good qualified candidates who came to interview from Belgium and Poland. We have sent the files through to the Polish Inspector for approval.
At the Education Council we also informed the parents how classes are created in sections with more then one class per level.
When we are confronted with multiple classes per level or with a new class split we try to create balanced classes to the best of our knowledge and to ensure the pupils has at least one good friend in the new class.
Balance between boys and girls, fast – slow learners, Attention to SEN pupils.
May I also make you aware that a communication policy has been put in place, please find the policy attached.
I would have welcomed you for a meeting if our explanation hadn’t been clear enough at the education council.
