The four meet up at Pandit's office where Hunny explains his scheme. However, since now they all together need a lot of money, they need someone to invest their money. On Zafar's insistence, Pandit is talked into taking them to meet a local gangster, Bholi Punjaban, where Hunny tells them their scheme. Bholi is ready to invest, and Lali also gives his shop papers as a mortgage. Bholi tells them to come the next day with the number. However, the same night, everyone except Choocha falls asleep. The next morning, Choocha narrates a fake dream which Hunny interprets and gets a number. They go to Bholi and tell the number. But it backfires, and Bholi loses her money. Now to recover her money, she gives them a packet containing drug pills which Zafar, Hunny and Lali have to sell at a rave party the same night. She keeps Choocha as security with her. At the party, police and the Narcotics division conduct a raid, and Lali escapes with a packet with the police chasing him. Lali manages to fool the cops and reaches Neetu's place. He also sees Zafar there. Neetu throws the drugs down the drain just as the police are about to search her home. The cops leave her place warning Lali. Meanwhile, Zafar tells the whole story to Neetu and also he was thinking that Neetu was falling for him, but she refuses, Zafar also warns him. Lali also calls Choocha telling him to run from Bholi's house which he succeeds in doing.
The next morning, all the five land up at Bholi's place. She gives them 24 hours to pay all the money due; otherwise, she would take the money by selling Lali's shop. The four are fighting at Zafar's place where Choocha tells them the truth about not seeing the dream. However, he says to them that he slept last night, and he saw a dream. Zafar is not interested while Lali, Hunny and Neetu are. Hunny interprets the dream, but they are short of cash even after Neetu is ready to give her savings. However, next morning Lali is able to borrow some money from a homeless man who used to remove parts from Lali's motorbike. They invest and win a huge amount. They go to Bholi's house and give her the money. Hunny tells Bholi that he wants to sell the drug pills again and gives her an advance. Impressed, Bholi goes inside and returns with the pills, only to be caught red-handed by the police and Narcotics division who have raided her home; while Hunny, Choocha, Lali and Neetu were investing the money, Zafar met the Narcotics division and made a plan to catch Bholi and also called Neetu, Lali, Choocha and Hunny where they confessed to the police. Now with Bholi behind bars, the police pardon the four, and they are free.
The first part of Fukrey was released in 2013. Three years later, in 2016, Fukrey Returns hit the big screen with the star cast reprising their roles. And now, Fukrey 3 is scheduled for release on September 7, 2023. "Once a fukra always a fukra so I am around. . . But I won't be coming on screen for the third outing of the Fukras, Bholi and Panditji! I would have wanted to be part of it but time and schedules didn't allow me to," Fazal further continued, "I will be back in the future at some juncture, maybe sooner than you expect. Zafar will be back after a small detour to entertain you guys!"
The film starts one year after the first part. Though they appear in school uniform in the first dream, it was evidently a dream. Now, they are in college so no more school uniform. School uniform fit them to the tee. As not so young men, it too added to their character and made the film quirkier. The film has the same cast except Ashraf Ul Haq, who unfortunately passed away after the first part. He was terrific in that little care-of-platform role.
Ever since the release of its First installment in 2013, Fukrey has always garnered immense love from the masses and has just gone on to achieve great heights with its succeeding parts which made it one of the franchises that have been made by the people. While the Franchise has made its place among the youngsters especially, Delhi connect that the film carried along has always been the soul of the film that has garnered immense love from the masses.
Since Fukrey Returns is in continuation of Fukrey i.e. it is the second part of the movie, rather than just a sequel. It started off with retelling the story of Fukrey in a comic manner, in order to help jog the memory of the audience. This I felt was a nice touch, though it is hardly possible for anyone to forget Fukrey.
With Ali Fazal's Zafar bhai missing in action for most part, Hunny (Pulkit Samrat) takes charge as Patparganj Ka Chanakya, Lali (Manjot Singh) sulks about business in doldrums while Choocha's (Varun Sharma) psychic skills keeps them afloat by locating all the missing cats and clothes for their clients in an East Delhi neighbourhood.
Mumbai, Sep 25 (IANS): Actress Richa Chadha, who has been an integral part of the 'Fukrey' franchise, shared her feelings about missing her actor-husband Ali Fazal, on the sets of 'Fukrey 3'.
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 27 (ANI): Ali Fazal is not returning to the third part of the popular comedy franchise 'Fukrey'. Yes, you read it right.
On Friday, Ali issued a statement, confirming his exit from the franchise. He informed that he did not work in 'Fukrey 3' owing to a scheduling conflict with 'Mirzapur 3' season.
"So Zafar aayega ya nahi? Sab yahi puch rahe hain baar baar.sorry saathiyon, iss baari nahi! Zafar bhai ko kabhi kabhi Guddu bhaiya bhi banna padhta hai. Aur do universes overlap ho jaate hain kabhi kabhi. Once a fukra always a fukra so i am around. . . But I won't be coming on screen for the third outing of the Fukras, Bholi and Panditji! I would have wanted to be part of it but time and schedules didn't allow me to," Ali said.
He also hinted at his return to the franchise in future.
"I will be back in the future at some juncture, maybe sooner than you expect. Zafar will be back after a small detour to entertain you guys," Ali added.
Ali's statement comes a few days after the makers announced the release date of Fukrey 3. The film is scheduled to hit the theatres on September 7.
Sharing the update, producer Farhan Akhtar took to Instagram and wrote, "Iss baar hoga chamatkaar, straight from Jamnapaar! #Fukrey3 arriving in cinemas on 7th September, 2023."
He also dropped a poster of the film featuring Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, Varun Sharma and Manjot Singh.
Helmed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the first part of 'Fukrey' was released in 2013 and the sequel 'Fukrey Returns' came out in 2017. (ANI)

After the super success of the previous two parts of the Fukrey franchise, fans have been eagerly waiting for Fukrey 3. There was a huge buzz when fans got to know that there will be the third part as well to this franchise.
