Hi,

I am reasonably new to segue...and have enjoyed some of the benefits, so thank you for all those that have helped develop it so far.

But what I was wondering was if it is possible to have the .Rprofile file that is currently being used in the local instance to be transfered and run before loading R (/getting to the prompt) in the remote instances so that if there are any custom functions that are used, it would be easily callable when using the emrlapply function?

also in terms of loading packages that are non-CRAN, if we can provide a source/repo from which to install the packages, would that work? and how would one go about adding that information in?

Also when packages are named in the createCluster function...i presume they are installed but are they loaded as well?

Thanks

HLM
