As the manual suggests, I am using the following command:  sh OTB-5.10.1-Linux64.run --target .... (I did not find the "contrib" version) to use the Segmentation algorithm provided by OTB for SegOptim, but I get the following message:

Python interpreter detected is : /usr/bin/python ( version: 2.7.18 )

Python.framework/Versions/2.7/Python cannot be found in any of search directories.

We had searched following directories /usr/lib /usr/lib64 /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu

If you don't have python-dev package installed, install it and make a symlink

If you don't have python headers and so installed on a custom location, then make a symlink

eg: ln -s /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/Python /---/Desktop/otb/lib/libpython2.6.so.1.0

sed: -I or -i may not be used with stdin

I also posted a question in gis.stackexchange.com only mentioning the OTB issue:

I wonder if somebody has installed the OTB in a Mac.

Thank you very much.
