At the FIRST DC Regional - the Indiana Teams took it away

I was lucky enough to be asked to be a judge at the DC Regional this
year, and a technical judge at that. It was great to see it from a
different viewpoint than the time that I went with Sal to the
Boilermaker Regional at Perdue 3 or 4 years ago.

I found it interesting that two of your Indiana teams 234 Cyber Blue
and 46 Technocats both really cleaned up. Of course the fact that
they were very well established teams that have been in operation for
a while helps.

The kids were great and the energy very high. Plus the 25 or so
judges that I worked with and the numerous others that were there to
volunteer were pretty impressive as well. A rooster of who's who in
the DC area scientific and technology world.

Of course getting to vist with Dean at the opening dinner (he sat next
to me) was great. He was most interested in hearing about the Indy
SegwayFesT. He does still love the p model the best!
