SegwayFesT 2008

It will be announced officially on New Years Eve that SegwayFesT 2008
will be held in Indianapolis. Please keep this quiet until the
official announcment is made.

Sal, Nora, Florin from the Netherlands, Morgan Smith from Segway Inc.
and myself are on the committee for this year, and we look forward to
working with the whole Indy SEG community on a great event for 2008.

The SegwayFesT 2008 committee is happy to announce that it has chosen
Indianapolis Indiana USA as the host city for the largest gathering of
Segway Enthusiasts in 2008.

SegwayFesT 2008 will be a celebration for all Segway Enthusiasts and
will be
held from Friday August 8th to Sunday August 10th 2008 at the
Marriott
Indianapolis Downtown. This event will bring Segway users from
around the
world to Indianapolis for a weekend of activities and glides.

Indianapolis was chosen for its Segway friendly community, with its
numerous parks and urban trails providing a wealth of interesting
places to glide. Indy is a very central US location that is easy to
get to by air, car or rail. The Marriott Indinapolis Downtown Hotel
is offering discounted room rates for SegwayFesT 2008 attendees
starting at $129 per night plus tax which includes a
breakfast coupon.

Segway Inc. has signed on to be the title sponsor of SegwayFest 2008
and
will be an active participant in the event. Educational seminars
and
workshops, social events, a Segway show and swap meet are being
planned
along with glides in and around the city of Indianapolis.

Please mark your calendar for the weekend of August 8th to 10th and
plan on
attending SegwayFesT 2008. Information on the event will be posted
on the
