Hi all,
I'm also going to send this via email to all of you (just in case some
of you aren't subscribed to this list).

Okay folks, here it is, the communication you’ve all been waiting for.
All systems go for IndySEG’s participation for the Fishers Freedom
Festival Parade.
The parade lineup begins at 3PM sharp on Sunday, June 29th with the
parade beginning at 4PM.
Were Unit #2 in Division 7. We have parking at the Southwest Lawn
outside Municipal Drive (but you can find parking on your own as we
have done in the past).
We line upon the Southwest Quadrant of Municipal Drive as we have in
the past at 3PM sharp.
Please bring plenty of water and decorate your Segways as well.
I’m going to send out a follow up message after Will, Wen and I chat
about getting together much earlier than the parade itself. Will will
be bringing SegwayPolo stuff, and Wen will be bringing Segway Agility
stuff for SegFesT.

participant groups:

Here are the rules of the parade:
We must keep the parade flowing without any gaps
Performing units have three locations to perform and will be marked on
the street with a large orange “X”. Limit the performance to 30
seconds.
(I’ll follow up with a communication about meeting early to practice a
short routine)
Golf Carts will need to travel up and down the left side of the
street. If there is an emergency, immediately STOP, and move to the
right side of the street so the emergency vehicles can get through.
I will have a sign up sheet for everyone to sign in before the start
of the parade, it needs to be handed in to our Division Leader: Robert
Reed.

Greetings Segway Parade Enthusiasts!
I need to inform you that I will not be able to attend this year's Fishers Freedom Fest Parade. I need to leave for Howell, Michigan this Friday to take care of a personal family matter. I won't be back till Monday or later. Nothing serious, just requires that I be there. I wish you all great weather and a fun time.

Sorry you won't be there, we will also be having a SegwayFesT 2008 planning meeting, so let us know if you want to work on anything, or volunteer for anything.
Wen is working on the agility games, I know he will need some help there.
Stu and Sal are working on the scavenger hunt
We will need folks to man the welcome and registration desk and work on a variety of other things, including helping with the polo games as well as the Segway Show.
