[SEFI] Books on EQ analysis & design

Dear SEFIans

I have been reading all the posts since long and I have improved my knowledge also. I have passed app. 20 years ago and at that time there was no EQ analysis in our syllabus.

Can anyone suggest me the Books on EQ analysis and Design with lots of calculated examples with code reference as we were doing in our college times.

The softwares like STRAP, STADD, etc. are not that much elaborate and from our discussions it is also clear that still there are nos. of questions unanswered regarding the designs. If we have readymade designs to check then we can easily understand the behaviour and that also will help us in modelleing the structure in the softwares.

I am in Jamnagar-Gujarat. We are far away from Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai etc. so naturally we can not have facilities like seminars, workshops etc. to exchange our views.

Dear Natarajan
In your reply on grid floor & ribbed slab and waffle slab floors you have mentioned abou books / manuals brought out by CSIR which adopts integro-differential method to arrive at BM, Shear & Torsion. Can you please mention the the name of the manual ; is it the one published by SERC?
