Background:
Prof. Dipti Ranjan Sahoo, Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Delhi, has won the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar (SSB) Prize for Science and Technology 2022 in Engineering Sciences. This feat has come after 5 decades long gap for Structural Engineering. Prior to him , Prof. Jai Krishna of the University of Roorkee (regarded as Father of Earthquake Engineering in India) was the last structural engineer to receive this award in 1966! Prof Sahoo has been associated with SEFI since his student days and later as an academician and have immensely contributed to SEFI community. This is indeed a matter of immense pride for structural engineering fraternity and an occasion to celebrate his grand success. Join us along with SEFI founders Prof. Sudhir K. Jain and Er. Alpa Sheth to felicitate Prof. Dipti Ranjan Sahoo and explore more about his research.
Eagerly looking forward to see you in the webinar. You may Join whatsapp Group for updates.
Thank you,
Best regards
