Dear Visionaries,

Every year we have been lucky and somehow reach $6M or even $7M like last year but this year looks worrisome.  As you are all family, I am seeking help from each and everyone of you to reach out to anyone you know in the country and seek help for Indore, Mumbai, Bihar or surgeries, whatever works.

Time and again SEF has come through and I am very positive you will all help make it happen this year also.

One million free eye surgeries annually by the year 2030 and this will arrest the growth of blindness in India.  What a legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren!

Dear Team DC

Nothing like sharing our personal experiences to motivate and inspire others.  I shared my contributions history to Indore hospital in past years and my inability to contribute any this year to Indore because of my significant contributions to Mumbai hospital, and my friend Anurag Mehta (who is from Indore) wrote a check for $5,000 in honor of his father Golden Wall of Founders.  We have to look for opportune time and share our personal experiences including treatment at our hospitals, meetings with staff and physicians, and more.  If each of us reaches out to 10 friends and families, and request 3 eye surgeries, we will each raise $900.  Top it up with our own contribution and we will exceed $1,000 each.  This will be marvelous coming from DC, so let us work together and make this happen.

Seriously folks,  we are in dire straits this year and there is a big chance of losing our Charity Navigator four star rating and also not meeting our commitments for Indore,  Mumbai and Bihar.   Things are not hunky dory and we really need help.

SEF is blessed with so many of you selfless volunteers and we can divide and conquer.  When we took on our first major project of Guntur,  we broke down one million into 1000 donors donating $1,000 each and that worked.

We have three campaigns going on now and if each of you can create a child campaign of $1,000 to $5,000 and send the link to all your friends and contacts all over the country,  we are done and for 2020, let us plan right from January onwards and we will surely have an all volunteer meeting.
