How can one get frequency absolute values when running meanspec().
Default output seems to be dB values.

Dear Paulo,

meanspec() returns by default relative values on a linear scale:

> data(tico)
> res <- meanspec(tico)
> head(res)
x y
[1,] 0.04306641 1.745206e-03
[2,] 0.08613281 8.832970e-04
[3,] 0.12919922 6.068424e-05
[4,] 0.17226563 6.161335e-05
[5,] 0.21533203 6.644111e-05
[6,] 0.25839844 6.503915e-05
> range(res[,2]) # range of relative amplitude values
[1] 5.699946e-05 1.000000e+00

Relative dB values are returned when setting the argument 'dB' (and
the argument 'dBref' if needed)

> resdB <- meanspec(tico, dB="max0")
> head(resdB)
x y
[1,] 0.04306641 -55.16307
[2,] 0.08613281 -61.07786
[3,] 0.12919922 -84.33848
[4,] 0.17226563 -84.20650
[5,] 0.21533203 -83.55126
[6,] 0.25839844 -83.73650
> range(resdB[,2]) # range of relative dB amplitude values
[1] -84.88259 0.00000

Best regards,

Jerome
