My friend Bette Cassatt has written a wonderful adaptation of The
Three Musketeers, which is being produced by The Georgetown Theatre
Company. They are holding auditions for non-union actors next

A fast-paced, exciting adaptation of Dumas' famous tale – 4 actors, 25
characters, 6 fights, 70 costume changes and all in under an hour!
This adaptation has been well-received by audiences at Adventure
Theatre, The National Theatre, and The First Light Festival.

ACTOR 1: (25-60) Athos – also plays The Duke of Buckingham, Cardinal
Richelieu, and other characters
ACTOR 2: (25-50) Porthos – also plays Captain de Treville, Rochefort,
King Louis XIII, Bonacieux, and other characters
ACTRESS 1: (20-50) Aramis – also plays Milady de Winter, Constance,
and other characters
This is a very active show and though previous stage combat experience
is not required, be aware that every actor will have some sword work
in this production.
PAY:
The actors will receive % of box office, copy of the DVD and
commercial, and production stills.
OTHER:
The show will be filmed by award-winning film-maker Eric Thornett of
Piranha Pictures (
