is again at the cross roads. There are lot of claims and counter claims affecting the morale of the people.

3 years back we put the society on the democratic principles and got an EC elected.

That EC really made great progress and gave concrete shape to dreams of people. However that is only for a section of the society.

Somewhere along the heat of the execution of projects, the interests of other members is not taken care of. Consequently there is a breach of trust.

Time has passed and the elections are not conducted.. which is creating a situation of further loss of trust.

Several polls are conducted to determine the fate of members who want to withdraw "whole or part" of their memberships from the society. Some of these members may also be participants of the phase 1 construction as well. There in lies the complexity of the situation.

As the trust is lost, members are naturally questioning the mandate and intent behind such actions.

I request that we should conduct elections again to regain the mandate (and hence the trust of the people) before taking decisions on complex issues.

Extremely well said Ravi
I am with you. We should conduct elections right away.
This is very important for moving this project forward and addressing the needs of every member of this society

Thanks

Elections are the best way forward !

It’s hard to trust folks who hold onto their chairs in the same positions for more than 4 years. And resist elections even after that.

I agree with Ravi's comments.

As an interim EC, the current EC shouldn't do what they are proposing.

- Thank you,
AK.
