Set shortener for posting provider

Is there a way to automatically set a URL shortener when a given posting provider is set?

No, unfortunately there's no access to read or set the current url shortener.

feature request :-)

My plugin for our internal system would benefit from this as when shortening URLs it would use our internal system/logger/cache and not require the user to have to manually think about changing.
