Populate parameter's dropdown from another cube

Is it possible to use a cube as a dropdown in another report.  So if I had a cube of all of our products and wanted to use that as a drop-down as a conditional in another cube could I do that?

This is possible and even recommended as a more efficient way to populate the dropdown.

Let's assume that you have a "product_id" parameter in the 'cube1', and you want to use 'cube2' to populate a dropdown list.

For this purpose choose Editor="Dropdown (dynamic)" and specify "Cube ID" + appropriate dimensions for 'value' and 'text' of dropdown items:
