PURPOSE OF THIS JOB
· This position is within the BI & Analytics Solutions team and plays a critical role in the overall operation of the business.
· The team oversees the development, maintenance, integration, data governance, analytics, and reporting across all business functions.
· We are in search of a Sr SAP BW Developer with expertise in Sales, Distribution, Category, and Supply Chain domains.
· The Sr SAP BW Developer masters all aspects within BW4HANA, and additionally has experience with Native HANA, SAP Data Intelligence, SAP Analytics Cloud and SAP Analysis for Microsoft.
RESPONSIBILITIES
#Requirements Gathering:
· Gain understanding of Red Bull's systems and business operations.
· Assist in crafting Business Scope Statements.
· Collaboratively define KPIs and use cases with the business teams.
#High Level Architecture:
· Convert Business Scope Statements into high-level data models.
· Design models for transactional and master data across various layers - extraction, harmonization, and reporting.
· Conduct presentations and reviews with architectural teams.
#Detailed Design Documentation:
· Identify data sources, ADSOs, composite providers, and ETL processes.
· Develop Bex queries, incorporating key figures, structures, and configurations.
· Assess design impacts on performance.
#ETL Development in BW4HANA and HANA Studio:
· Implement development objects.
· Execute unit testing.
· Manage code transportation.
· Coordinate user acceptance testing with business functions.
# Reporting and Analytics Solutions Development:
· Utilize Bex, SAP Analysis for Microsoft, and SAP Analytics Cloud to create reporting and analytics solutions.
· Design models and data marts for optimal performance.
· Identify actionable insights.
· Support business functions with data exploration.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
· A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· 8 to 10 years of experience in SAP BW development (excluding time spent on Production Support/Monitoring).
· Proficient in ABAP (data source enhancements, routines, variable exits, debugging).
· Expertise in SQL and AMDP.
· Familiarity with CDS views.
· Interest in learning SAP Data Intelligence and Snowflake.
· Proven ability to engage with business stakeholders at all levels, effectively gather requirements, and translate them into functional solutions.
· Has independently produced at least 10 detailed design documents of medium to high complexity.
· Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
· Motivated, accountable, and committed to continuous learning and growth.
· Willingness to travel to the European HQ for onboarding during the first year.
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
· Fluency in English is required. Additional language proficiency is beneficial.
