As an introduction to my email, I would like to quote a passage from Risaalatul Huqooq of Imam Ali ibn Al-Husayn Zainal Aabideen (AS)
The right of your child is that you should know that he is from you and will be ascribed to you, through both his good and his evil, in the immediate affairs of this world. You are responsible for what has been entrusted to you, such as educating him in good conduct (husn al-adab), pointing him in the direction of his Lord, and helping him to obey Him. So act toward him with the action of one who knows that he will be rewarded for good doing toward him and punished for evildoing.
With this in mind, I would like to inform you of a recent project that I have been so blessed to partake in. Having recently returned from the Holy city of Qum, where I was fortunate with the opportunity to reflect, ponder and study elementary Islamic Studies, I feel this project is one of the offshoots of my reflections and consequently one of the most important establishments required especially by the Muslim Shia community here in Britain and a community in Intidhaar (active awaiting of the reappearance of the Imam of our Age). In the development of a community with the features of the Holy Ahlulbayt (AS), this project is foundational and vital.
The project I'm referring to is the Harrow Primary School, a school that has been established for 5 years. It is one of the extremely few Shia ideology based schools in London and in fact the whole of the UK.
In addition to teaching the national curriculum, and maintaining the highest academic standards in regards to this, We also have fundamentally implemented the teaching of Quran, Arabic and Islamic studies based on the school of Ahlul Bayt (as). The school welcomes children from all denominations, believes in integration with those of other faiths and the wider community.
In an ever-changing British Society, where daily values are being compromised, I firmly believe that this establishment is so paramount in safeguarding Our Islamic values and beliefs and in particular those of our children - the angels of Allah and His Prophet (SAW). We pray that such a core establishment will give the correct nurturing so that they may inshaA develop into being the soldiers of the Imam of Our Age (AJTFS).

So why am I emailing you?
You can only imagine the sheer effort and resource required to maintain an establishment as the one highlighted. It has not been an easy task and at times there have been some extreme difficulties. However with the help of Allah (SWT), we have got this far and must now continue to ensure that this School is foundational within the fabric of Our community. You can only imagine the total financial burden involved to initially establish the school and also to continue running it. The School is in need of your support, both in terms of resource and currently more urgently in terms of finance. Rasulullah (SAW) has said that Islam was spread by the sword of Ali (AS) and the wealth of Syedda Khadija (SA), so financial assistance is of the utmost importance.
In terms of running cost - as a ball park figure, the current outgoings are near £40-60k per month and the current income is around 25-30k per month. This leaves us with an average shortfall of around £25k per month.
I am making an urgent appeal to all Mumineen that If it is possible in any way or form for you to support us in this regard, Allah SWT from his all encompassing infinite mercy will reward you without doubt.
