I can not stress the imperative need to support Akil Dhalla, he is a candidate for the local Harrow Council. His ward area is attached.
Please look st this map in detail and call up/ text/ facebook/ whatsapp/ whatsdown// whoever you know that might live in this area and ask them to support this particular candidate.
The prediction is that there will be only two muslim councillors left in Harrow Council for the next four years. This is because five muslim councillors from the last local election have left their parties and do not have a realistic chance of winning in the election on 22nd May 2014. With a 12% muslim population in the borough, two councillors out of 63 being muslim is a dismal figure, please do your bit to put this right..
The turnout is expected to be low on 22 May, so there is a good chance that getting all your friends, family and neighbours out in the area you are in, might swing the vote in favour of your candidate..!
