Salam Alaikum Elissar,

Sumayya Ajem (who Nada suggested) would be a nice person to contact. I believe that is the daughter of Shaykh Ramzy Ajem, one of the Shadhili-Darqawi shaykhs in Toronto. I think that they have zikr on Thursdays or Saturdays at the Risala Foundation Zawiya.

Also, I would really suggest that your friend get in touch with Shaykh Muhammad Kabirr & his family. They always have something going on, and she would get a lot of personal exposure to the shaykh & his family (he is our Shaykh who visited our home 2 Fridays ago). They gather for Zikr on Fridays, but the Shaykh does the same zikr every evening at his house for anyone who wants to visit and join him.
