I hope you are all well. Thought I'd jump on the bandwagon of contact
seeking. I'm heading back to school in Winnipeg on Wednesday (took
shahada since I left 18 months ago) and I know no brothers/sisters
there. Does anybody know anybody in Winnipeg?

I hope your Ramadan is going well, I am sorry we didn't keep in touch after the doors open event.. so the least I can do is get you in touch with someone in Winnipeg. The first person I would suggest you contact is Ismael Mukhtar, he is one of the best people I have met while in Canada and is quite the community figure. He will be able to help you out a lot inshallah and introduce you to many folks there.

And I got an email about the MSA (Muslim students association) at university of Manitoba Eid Dinner event, on Friday August 23rd from 6pm to 10pm at university centre room 200-224. I don't if it will be any good, but I am sure you will meet some folks there.

Oh that sounds awesome. Thanks for the heads up Mozynah. And I met a guy who I think knows you his name is Furqan (don't know last name). He is in the shadili tariqa of Sufis, same as mine. Hope all is well with you! AsSalamu alaykum
