Please find some information below on an upcoming brothers spirituality retreat taking place on June 7-13 that might be of interest to you.

 

If I was a boy...I'd be all over it :) The deadline is coming up so don't delay!

 

Here's some more info:

• Following the Prophetic tradition as taught by Habib Umar bin Hafidh, this program seeks to provide its participants a taste of the forty day Dawrah which takes place in Tarim.

 

• The program offers us the chance to partake of a schedule that weaves together private reflection time, collective worship, consistent litanies, and the study and practice of the Beauties of Brotherhood.

 

• The Retreat will take place in a large cottage ideal for communal living and brotherly cooperation, built in an ecologically-friendly manner. The cottage is located on a quiet lake in the heart of a 350-acre forested domain.

 

• The retreat site also offers opportunities for brothers to connect with each other in activities such as the nightly campfire, swimming and canoeing, hiking trails, and an outdoor amphitheatre.

 

Please share this email with other brothers who may be interested from Ottawa, Montreal or Toronto. People are coming from all three cities, so carpooling can be arranged inshAllah.
