Hi,
A new version of SEEK, version 1.6.1 is now available. This is a patch
release that addresses some issue and suggestions that came up since
1.6.0 last week. In particular
- Fixed an error when uploading a DataFile with no Assays in the
database (only seemed to affect Docker)
- Fixed a mime type problem when uploading files, in particular CSV
files being incorrectly treated as Excel
- When using the DataFile upload wizard, the arrow keys no longer causes
the steps to change whilst in the process of editing a field.
- Recognise and handle Excel (macro-enabled), XLSM, files as standard
Excel files.
- Within the admin area, when showing the queued jobs, there is no a
button to clear failed jobs.
- You no longer have to accept the (blank) Terms and Conditions when
setting up the first user for a new SEEK installation.

If you are still on 1.5, you can upgrade straight to 1.6.1.
If already on 1.6.0 then a simple update is required, it shouldn't be
necessary to run the upgrade script although doing so will do no harm.
Upgrade details can be found at
https://docs.seek4science.org/tech/upgrading.html
If using Docker, then upgrading between versions is described at the end
of
https://docs.seek4science.org/tech/docker/docker-compose.html
If using Docker, and already using 1.6, then it should just require
pulling a new image, i.e:
docker-compose down
docker-compose pull
docker-compose up -d
