Hi guys.

I'm trying the guide from https://github.com/seek-for-android/pool/wiki/UsingSmartCardAPI to test access to SE. I understand that the phone has to implement Open Mobile API for it to work. I have tested with a Samsung A700FD (rooted), which works (at least until creating session, I haven't tried sending APDUs). The other one is a phone in development (not rooted) but I cannot get it to work. It always throws me a SecurityException when creating SEService object. When I check running processes in the phone, there is one called SmartcardService (org.simalliance.openmobileapi.service:remote). A shot in the dark here, but does the remote part somehow contribute to my issue?

This is the exception:
java.lang.SecurityException: Not allowed to bind to service Intent { act=org.simalliance.openmobileapi.BIND_SERVICE pkg=org.simalliance.openmobileapi.service }

Any help or guidance is appreciated.
