Final Artistic Instructions for tomorrow's performance from Mary K

Dear Singers,

Please print these and take them to the field tomorrow - some folks will not have checked email - or do not have email and you can share them so we are clear about what we are doing.

The Seating Rearrangement Immediately before sining 
Seating - Just before we sing there will be a time when all at Qwest field will be standing and exchanging bracelets - this is when we want you to move the adults to the edges of the rows and the children toward the center in your section - your child might move a few seats away but you'll be at the end and another adult or two will be at the other end.

Do not feel like you have to force your child to move away from you - it's perfectly fine for you to adjust with the needs of your child - especially the little ones.

We will not likely get a formal warm-up - so please sing before you come - just singing the songs (gently at first) - any songs - and get your children singing too.
Some of you were not at last night's rehearsal and I did an "INSTANT WARM-UP" that I intend to do tomorrow...

INSTANT WARM-UP
(just before we sing tomorrow, after sitting for 2 hours...)
The musicians will start to play - and I'll say:
"Everybody Up!"
choir stands up -

etc. - just follow me.
Then...Children - are you ready to lead?

Children sing everything
Adults don't sing first or last line of verses except
last line of last verse:  Let the power of the heart create a world made of love.
(Everyone on that last line)

*****In the event the sound is not picking up the children's last line I'll say "everyone" when it's time to sing the last line - if I invite everyone to sing on the last line please continue to do the same to the end of the song.

Children sing everything - adults come in on second half of each verse

sing harmony with all English verses only

ahs - NO ahs 1st time chorus
Add ahs after the language verses. (second time we sing Listen people everywhere...)
From then on do them to the end.
ALTOS  - LISTEN TO THE MP3 (on the website)AND PRACTICE AHs BEFORE YOU COME TOMORROW - and inform each other tomorrow in your seats about when to do the ahs.

EVERYONE  - HOLD HANDS ON LAST CHORUS WHEN WE SAY "COME AND TAKE SOMEBODY'S HAND" - CONTINUE TO HOLD TO THE END.  NOTE - IT IS THE LAST TIME ONLY THAT WE DO THIS!!!
