I've been running the Seeburg Jukebox Information Club on Yahoo! for
some years now, and I hope to use the resources of Google to help
handle the overflow.

Kevin,

I follow the Yahoo group and just came across this one. Is there a way to block all of the porn posts that show up when I open this group in Google? I gather people figured out they could join, without scrutiny, and did so just to post their junk. Is there something I can do from my end to not display it?

I didn't realize the Google group was still there -- I haven't visited in years. When I formed it, Yahoo was making changes (not all for the better), and Google groups was fairly new, so I thought I'd give it a try.

Well, Google groups never had the features I wanted and Yahoo got better, so I just kind of let the Google group slide. I've deleted the spam, and there's not much left.

I'll have to make it a point to check in to Google more often.
