Happy New Year Everyone!  I have a new jukebox problem that I need some assistance with for the new year.  I own a couple of Seeburg jukeboxes, one of them being the SMC2 "Disco Ball" jukebox.  When I purchased the jukebox it had been modified for free play.  In order to get credits you have to flip the top up and push the Credit switch about 5 times. Once you start playing it automatically jumps to 99 credits.
Since this is the procedure that needs to happen each time you power up the jukebox, I have always left the lid in the unlocked position and just pushed it down in place. However, recently I moved. So I locked down the cabinet locks on the right and left sides for the move.  Well, I now have the jukebox in place in its new home, but I'm only able to unlock the right side lock.  The left one turn and you can hear a "click," but it does not unlock.  I recall the locks being a little tricky, but this is the first time I've experienced being locked out. It's been quite some time since I've had to do any work on my jukeboxes and my first thought was to go behind the machine, open the access panel in the rear and see if I could deal with the lock from there. Well, unlike my Seeburg Quadraphonic jukebox, there's no access panel in the rear of the jukebox.
So now I'm stumped regarding how to get this cabinet unlocked.  I don't see any other way to access the lock other than opening the cabinet.  I don't want to try to force it because I'm afraid I'll damage something.  If anyone has had a problem of this kind and might be able to offer a solution it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for any tips you might be able to provide.
