Seeburg LS1 with Selectomatic 160

Hello all,

I am new to the Jukebox world.  I am actually trying to help my Dad get the jukebox going again.  It was working.  I really need some help on a good starting point.

Issue 1:  Record will not eject at end of play.  Already checked the magnet tip and I have bought the Install/Ops and also downloaded the Service Manual which shows adjustmensts, Lubrication, and schematics.  The sensor seems to be working right as the mute part is working.  I can hear the click in the amplifier.  Also when i press the reject button on the Service switch it mutes the record as well.

I have not made any adjustments yet.  I did clean out as much old lubrication and lubricated what I could but cannot get to the clutch as the record holder is in the way.  I can manually lift the latch lever and it rejects the record and goes into scan mode continuously. When i push the lever back to play mode, it stops and picks the record up where i stop and begins playing.

Issue 2:  The tormat electrical selector is weird as well.  I have to push a number first then a letter, I dont think thats normal, but again I am new to this.  Also no digital selection playing displayed, and it used to work.

The coin and credit stuff was bypassed by someone before my Dad got the jukebox and has always worked, so not sure how that was done.

Can I get some guidance on where I should start?  Not sure if issue 2 causes issue 1 or vise versa.  Let me know if I need any other manuals?

Would be willing to take this off-line with someone if they would like to hear all the details, that might help.
