Above is the link to the SEDSAT II team blog, which should have weekly
updates from every team in the project. I have done the ground team
one for this week, as the other teams out there need to know about
bath's involvement (no backing out now!) and that there is an end in
sight.

If anyone has any progress reports or issues that they think should
make it to next weeks update, post them here and someone will put them
up every friday (I can do it for now, if that is ok with everyone).

In other news; the head of the Electronic Engineering department at
Bath university (where we wish to build the ground station) had this
to say about my request for build permission:

"This sounds good, but a 5m parabola is going to be an issue (!). We
need to consider it
in more detail."

Obviously he is perfectly justified in this regard, so the next top
priority should be to get a reliable figure for the diameter,
balancing the need for practicality and the requirements from the
comms team.
