The Somerset & West Wiltshire Network would like to invite you to the following event:

 

UK Rocketry Association - The IET Christmas Family Lecture

Tuesday 9 December 2008, 18.30 for 19.00

 

Room 4E, 3.1, University of Bath, Bath, BA2 7AY

 

The speaker will present an illustrated lecture on the work of the UK rocketry association. This organisation is the national body for UK amateur rocket builders and represents the interests of rocket builders to the government. It provides guidelines and help for building rockets to go higher, further and faster carrying heavier payloads both for fun and experimentation.

 

Various items including rocket motors will be available for examination before and after the lecture.

The Lecture is free of charge, however those wishing to attend dinner after the lecture should send a cheque for £18.50 made out to IET S&WW Branch Social Fund, to the honorary treasurer Walter Sweetenham, wswee...@theiet.org Please indicate which event it is for, tickets will not be issued. A vegetarian meal can be provided if order at the time of booking.

 

Our events are open to members and non members of the IET and all events are free of charge unless otherwise stated.
