Hi,

Has anyone played around with this?

I was just wondering what are the pros and cons of each?

I have both working and was thinking which is faster?

Are there any recommendations that are Security Onion specific?

Thank you.

Hi Robert,

I have no experience with this. Perhaps others can chime in with
their experience?

PCI Passthrough will always be the best option - both performance and stability wise. You are giving your VM a direct device access, with nothing in between.
