Hey all,

So I just setup a new SO box and got ntopng installed and running well. The only problem that I have is that authentication seems to be completely broken on it. Unless I add --disable-login to the config, I can't access anything since any login combination I try doesn't work. I have already tried the default login as well as manually specifying a user file or manually adding and changing the user password with the redis-cli SET command. It always just takes me right back to the login page and doesn't give any errors like wrong password or anything. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Jordan Rodgers

Hi Jordan,

We don't support ntopng. Please see:

I believe I ran into the same issue and just stuck with the --disable-login option.  If you can't resolve it at the ntopng level, you might experiment with making Apache act as an authenticated reverse proxy to the ntop service.  It might be complicated though :)
