You could put "soup -y" in a cron job:

However, keep in mind that some updates may require action on your
part. For example, Snort/Suricata updates will replace your
snort.conf/suricata.yaml config files and you'll need to manually
re-apply any local customizations. For this reason, we recommend that
most users always run soup manually instead of from a cron job.
