Awesome! this is excellent stuff! I am planning on getting the prerecorded material for the 101 and 201 class, then 301 for the March 2017 class.

I see there is a prerequisite for the 301, is that just a recommendation or we have to have 101 and 201 before being allowed to take the 301?

Thanks,
Chris

Other then this is there any other training available?

Hi Chris,

You can register for 301 without having taken 101/201, but we *highly*
recommend the prerequisites.

"The Practice of Network Security Monitoring" and "Applied Network
Security Monitoring" included coverage of Security Onion, but they are
both from 2013 and are therefore based on the older Security Onion
12.04.

Lots of good documentation on our Wiki:

Ok thank you Doug for the reply. I will have 101 and 201 done by March 2017 in order to be ready for the new 301 course. Glad you guys extended the current course offerings until then.

Thanks,
Chris
