SO 16.04 install on Ubuntu 16.04 Server

Hi All,

We use Security onion on Ubuntu 16.04 server using the below tutorial

What happens after EOL (16th April 2021) are we still able to use it to install ,if we would like to stick with SO 16.04 ?

We will not provide any support for Security Onion 16.04 after April 16, 2021. This applies to installations using our ISO image and manual installations on Ubuntu 16.04 Server. Additionally, Ubuntu will no longer support Ubuntu 16.04 after April 2021.

We highly recommend that you move to Security Onion 2:
