resolution issue with virtualbox

Hi,
I've installed SO on virtual box. but the issue is the resolution which I have only 640x480! Lol!

Can you please help me to fix this issue!

Mostafa,

You will need to install the VBoxGuestAdditions_4.3.20.iso which can be downloaded from the Virtual box website @ http://download.virtualbox.org/virtualbox/

To change the resolution of your Security Onion VM, install the
Virtual Tools for your virtualization solution or use xrandr. For a
list of available screen resolutions, simply execute “xrandr”. To set
the screen resolution (replace W and H with the actual Width and
Height desired):

xrandr -s WxH
