Security Onion in GCP

Good day, all.

Has anyone here trying or has any experiences here to setup Security Onion in Google Cloud Platform before to monitor instances?

Yes, I gave it a try but couldn't get it to work on GCP Ubuntu 14.04. Snort keep crashing - the logs seemed to suggest it was a problem with pf_ring. So I gave up and went with AWS.
