It is with deep regret we have to inform you that Mr. Dharmapala Senaratne has passed away; this was conveyed by Mr. Tharaka Warapitiya, Secretary of Sri Lanka Rationalist Association.

It is with deep regret we have to inform you that Mr. Dharmapala Senaratne has passed away; this was conveyed by Mr. Tharaka Warapitiya, Secretary of Sri Lanka Rationalist Association.
Mr. Senaratne was the President of Sri Lanka Rationalist Association and a very close associate of Secular Sri Lanka Campaign. Mr. Senaratne helped build the rationalist movement in Sri Lanka since his youth and authored many books and articles on rationalism in Sinhala language that reached a large number of people in Sri Lanka. Funeral arrangements and further details will be announced when it becomes available.
