Mr. Hemachandra Wijesooriya, a founding member of SSL passed away

Dear friends,

Mr. Hemachandra Wijesooriya, my father, a life long free thinker and secular humanist, who engaged in intellectual discourse with our membership and a regular participant of Sri Lanka Rationalist Association meetings has passed away.  He was 86.

Funeral arrangements will conclude this evening per his wishes at Eldeniya crematorium.  Remains will rest today at Kumari Florists at Kadawatha until 5:30pm. Cremation will be at Eldeniya today.
