My esteemed listmates,

My desktop PC had to be replaced ASAP asi it was failing.

New job - no time to backup.

I've got FF installed on the new $500 mini PC running W11.

I've read a ton of reddits and YT and they all say after you import your old FF html file of bookmarks to click  on the toolbar empty space, choose Customize, drag the "Library" uo to the toolbar and press done.

I still can't see any bookmark.

Has anyone imported FF bookmarks via html off a flash drive and the got their old bookmark on their new PC running W11?

What step(s) am I missing?

Thank you,

Charles.

If you open up Firefox, then click in the browser so it's the active window (eg. don't have anything else up on your screen).  The press and hold on the keyboard: Ctrl + Shift + O
(O as in Orange)

that will open the bookmarks toolbar that has import/export options that look like:

No idea what you'd do after that, but you should be able to access bookmarks from the 3 bar menu at the top right otherwise right click in an empty spot to the right of the URL and you can turn on the Bookmarks Toolbar (right click, Bookmarks Toolbar -> Always Show)
