I'm reaching out on behalf of Access to Independence,
We're a disability led and run non-profit in Madison, WI, providing disability resources, services, and advocacy to people of all ages with any type of disability. We're hosting an
Adaptive Gaming Expo on Saturday, August 22nd at the Madison Youth Arts Building from 10am-4pm. This a free-to-attend community event centered around disability inclusion in the world of gaming. We're highlighting adaptive technology for video and board gamers of all abilities through keynote presentations, gameplay, and vendors!
We're currently seeking artists, gamers, inventors, and all others who share a love for things related to accessibility, disability inclusion, video games, board games, RPGs, and all things nerdy (in the best possible way!) to be involved in this year's event.
I'm wondering if reading this sparks any ideas about folks involved with Sector67 who might have an interest in being involved with the event? I'd love to chat more about the event and see if there are any connections we can make!
All the best!
Amber
