For Sale Enco Round Column Mill Drill $1500

For sale 1981 Enco round column mill drill asking $1500. Condition is fair, backlash on the X and Y axis is around .025 inch. This mill has been fitted with a tread mill motor for infinitely variable spindle speed control. The motor is about 1hp (120 volt single phase) and produces spindle speeds from 0 to 1500RPM. The original pully system in still in place so you can still get decent torque at low RPM.

Specs:

• spindle speed 0 to 1500 RPM
• X travel 20 inch
• Y travel 5.5 in (this could be increased to 6.5in if you move the DRO scale to the front of the table)
• Spindle travel 5 inch
• R8 Spindle
• Head height adjustable up to 18 inches from bed
• Over all dimensions 48 inch wide (requires 68 inches of space to accommodate X axis travel), 36 inch deep, and 78 inch tall with stand

Features and included stuff:

• 3 axis DRO with spindle RPM
• Spray master coolant system
• Most of a gallon of Kool Mist formula #77 concentrate. 
• A set of R8 collets (inexpensive imports)
• A few end mills
• 5 inch vice (inexpensive import)
• Hold down kit
• Original motor, 2hp 220volt single phase

This was my daily driver for about 2 years and it served me well but I got an opportunity to upgrade that I could not pass up. There is a discount if you get it out of my basement safely.
