October Monthly Meeting Tuesday 10/5 7PM

We'll be holding our October monthly meeting coming up Tuesday, 10/5 starting at 7PM.  It'll be streamed on Zoom as well as vaccinated+masked in-person (with a tour of the shop after the meeting in-person).  If you have something you'd like to share please let me know!  I'll send out a Zoom link and a topic update Tuesday.

• I'll give an update on a galvo scanning head for a 500W fiber laser (likely 50W max through the galvo, no cooling)

Monthly meeting starts tonight at 7PM

Updated presentations:

1. Kate's presenting: "genealogical-cryptid-package I made in 2017 for my brother where I made the fake boar horn, aged paper and cloth to look old, aged some human bones, etc"
   
2. EJ plans to share an SQL database generator that creates a system similar to Airtable for data storage and management
   
3. I'm going to see if I can get the 500W fiber laser to make a hole in a piece of steel by 7PM tonight and give an update on how that goes.  Need to make a QBH to galvo fiber coupler but the galvo head is working!
   
4. Anybody else have something they'd like to share?
