Tomorrow's session is to clarify your doubts, if you have any, related to the SM course.  We will also start discussion on the  AECS case in tomorrow's class.

There is an assignment submission for this case which is due on Mar 12. Deadline is 23:59:59 (midnight) on Mar 12.

Given the work load you all have, I have changed the assignment from open to closed context and also from the 2 cases given in the case booklet to one case (2004 Case-1st case). So you need to read only 2004 case (1st case in the case booklet).

Here are the two questions you are supposed to address in your assignment (due on Mar 12):

Based on the information given in first case (page 449 to 480)  answer the following questions

 

1. The government of Tamil Nadu has offered to reimburse fully the cost of cataract surgery of poor patients of AECS, What do you recommend as the cost to be recovered from the Government of Tamil Nadu?  Clearly show your calculations in an excel document. Your calculations should be self-explanatory.

2. Create a strategy map (read "Having trouble with your strategy? Then Map It" page 519 of case material) to communicate the strategy of AECS and explain all the linkages? You need to submit the strategy map and  explanation for linkages in a word document. The maximum limit is 5 pages including all text, graphs, figures and tables. Anything beyond 5 pages will not be evaluated. The document should have 1 inch margins and single space, Times New Roman font and font size 12. 

The deadline is 12th March 2013, 23:59:59 hrs.

Note: You are supposed to work in your PGP study group for this assignment. The assignment has 10% weight-age. Anshika has already sent you the exhibits of this case.

We need to start working on the PCCBs assignment and we would need you for that. I think Patira can take this up and Gulati, you and I can work on the PCCBS thing. Patira - Any problems with this? U can work with Vishrut and Tejesh on AECS.

Also, there is no restriction and anyone who wants to do a particular assignment can chip in. I want to be involved both in AECS and PCCBS. Lemme know what you guys think.

that works too .. 

but I had worked on PCCBS last time ( n that too alone) .. hence somehow I am not feeling enthu for PCCBS at all ... can pitch in for both though , but would want to own SM , unless some1 has already owned it . If PAtira has already called for ownership he can take it , else I would take it .
