Lectures on Business Ethics & Corporate Governance

 

 

I am pleased to inform you that I am conducting a full semester course on "Business Ethics & Corporate Governance" for the final year students of the PGDM programme of the National Insurance Academy, Pune. 

 

National Insurance Academy (NIA) was established in 1980, primarily as Training Institute for senior executives of Insurance Industry by Life Insurance Corporation of India and General Insurance Corporation of India with participation and active support of the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.  NIA has over 100 Insurance Companies / Institutes as Global partners. The objective of the Course is to familiarize the participants on Ethical Issues which affect the society, business and individuals. The course intends to help in critically analyzing the Ethical challenges faced by managers, executives and attempts to offer appropriate corporate responses.

 

The Pedagogy of the course is Case Method. The participants will be exposed to Indian and Global cases, covering wide ranging topics including Cross Culture issues.

 

While designing the course content, I have dialed-in the leanings from my corporate experience, especially, with TATA’S, among others.  It is my sincere belief that no amount of academic input can supplement EXPERIENCE. Hence, the course will have eminent persons from the corporate world to address the Class and share their wisdom so as to give a meaningful direction to the Young Managers.

 

It is towards this end, the following eminent persons have consented to address   for one hour followed by short Question & Answer session.
