Hey there!
As many of you know, I developed the iPhone/iPad app called Rehearsal:
(that won't download the app, it will just take you to the explanation page on iTunes).
We've enjoyed a long run as the highest rated software on ActorRated.com (Johnathan, who runs that site, was responsible for the Bob Fraser headshot benefit this past Friday, and is a great guy).
Like Yelp, ActorRated relies on user reviews to rate and rank its businesses. We've only had three reviews on ActorRated, and they were all stellar. Perfect 5 stars all across the few reviews and ratings we've had.
Until this past Friday.
Someone anonymously posted the following 1-star review:
"It's confusing and too expensive. Customer service guy is a know-it-all that is more arrogant than helpful."
Now, someone may confuse my real life humor with arrogance, but I'm nothing if not helpful - my customers are all very important to me. Confusing? That hasn't been the reaction I've ever gotten to this straightforward app. And at $20, it's a bargain.
But...it sounds eerily familiar to a review that was posted on iTunes, and turned out to be posted by Billy Da Mota, a casting director who vehemently disagrees with my pro-casting workshop stance, and has posted negative reviews and comments about me and my products in the past.
But I don't know for sure. Here's what I do know: I can turn to you and ask for your help. Just three minutes of your time will do it.
If you use Rehearsal, and you share my enthusiasm for it, would you mind taking a moment, visiting ActorRated.com and giving me the highest rating you feel comfortable with? And, if you would, a short and sweet review? I'd really appreciate it.
I've had no complaints about Rehearsal for months, until this cropped up. And although I have my suspicions about who left this comment (noted above), I won't ever know for sure, so I can't even respond to find out what their experience was like.
If you would, please help. Thanks. Here's the page to visit and to leave your ratings and comment:
