I just started using secrets. I like it because I can import my
password list from my computer. I'm currently trying to get it to
import a csv file created by OpenOffice.org, but it imported one I
created with Excell. A feature I would like to see in secrets is the
use of folders or categories to separate the passwords. Kudos to the
developer(s).

I concur, categories such as what is available in Droidpass would be a
much appreciated feature to add. That or the ability to search saved
passwords is a must for any password manager.

Hi Joseph,

Secrets does support search, although judging from all the people who
don't know about it I guess its not easily discoverable enough.

After logging in, with the list of secrets shown, just start typing. That's it.

See the full user manual at http://code.google.com/p/secrets-for-android/.

A search box or something of the sort would probably help people find
this feature. Knowing about this makes Secrets 10x more useful to me,
I'm sure more people would use it if more people knew about this
feature.

Thanks for the feedback Joseph. Totally agree with you. The tricky
part is that the search UI is built into the android list widget, so
adding a search box is not really an option. In fact, this is exactly
the same search UI as in the contact list, for example.

Maybe I'll add a tip that pops up letting users know how it works.

Jesus, I honestly wasn't aware that the contacts list had a search
function as well. This is a good day for me.

The tip sounds like a good idea, though your using the same UI as the
contacts app people /should/ intuitively know how it works...
theoretically but I didn't, so a tip couldn't hurt.
