Schema evolution issues while converting from Avro to Parquet.

We are facing cast type issues with schema evolution when converting from Avro to Parquet as the converter implementation converts using the index / position of field in schema and not using the field name.
Is there support that exists already in Secor with respect to schema evolution or needs to be fixed ?
